in 2023, Freiburg and Mähring showed that they are ideally suited as new locations for the jewelry summer courses. In both places there are well-equipped studios with up to 10 spaces, a attractive cultural environment and a rich range of dining and accommodation options. Both the Black Forest in Freiburg and the charming Stiftland
in the Northern Part of Bavaria around Mähring are first-class excursion destinations.www.visit.freiburg.de www.ostbayern-tourismus.de
The very positive response from the participants in 2023 encourages us to offer the following courses in 2024. During the weekend April 27th - 28th, a gemstone setting course will be on the agenda.
The 5 day summer courses begin with silversmithing in Mähring from July 14th to 19th. Bea Benedetti'
is represented at many exhibitions in Switzerland. In her workshop from July 21st to 26th in Freiburg it will become clear how versatile this material can be used for jewelry. There is still great interest in the topic of email techniques. This course, led by Mandy Rasch
, is scheduled for the week of July 28th to August 2nd. The advantages of Argentium silver alloy
over traditional silver alloys are obvious. With Christine Zock
, the participants explore the many possibilities that this alloy offers. Takayoshi Terajima
a former student of Prof.K. Kageyama
, will expand the topic of traditional Japanese techniques
and set new, own accents. We are pleased that there will be another course on casting techniques with Annina Rodigari
and another workshop on anticlastic raising
with Georg Schulte
From October to the end of June, continuous morning, afternoon and evening courses for participants who join the classes once a week are suitable for participants from the region and are not listed in this program, the weekend- and summer courses of the year 2024, which are also interesting for participants outside Freiburg are listed. There is a wide range of accommodation.
You can find more detailed information about the courses in this flyer. Detailed programs can be printed out or requested via the homepage. I am happy to answer any further questions and look forward to you coming to Freiburg or Mähring.
